From remarkable gardens and public spaces to extraordinary architecture and planting, we will explore how designers have responded to climate, culture, materials, movement and the everyday life of the city.

As garden designers and educators, we are continually asking what makes a designed space successful — and whether good design can ever be defined. This tour gives us the opportunity to explore those questions together, through the places we visit and the conversations we share.

We will observe, listen, question and respond, looking beyond the obvious to understand how spaces work, how they make us feel and why some places remain with us long after we have left them.

Above all, this is a journey of discovery: a chance to step away from the everyday, see things differently, exchange ideas and return to our own practice feeling inspired, challenged and connected.
